It allows the player to bring their pet (or "Spirit") along with them to battle, adding an extra medal slot to their deck. Pets are leveled by placing medals onto them (though this does not consider them "occupied" or "consumed"), and their level determines what tricks (abilities) they can use and what multiplier their slot will provide. Refer to the KHUX wiki's page about this topic for specifics regarding abilities, multipliers, etc.Your deck: The "deck" is referred to as the placed medals on your keyblade, which can be anywhere from 0 (no medals placed) to 5 (all medals placed).Your deck is limited to the keyblade cost you have currently unlocked. You can obtain up to a maximum of 223 cost by leveling your character and/or purchasing avatar boards.Story: As the name states, allows you to select story quests, which let you experience the riveting collectathon your character's growth in the story filled with many familiar faces. This section also allows you to participate in Proud Mode, which is a harder version of the story with higher level rewards and keyblades!.Special: Usually reserved for quests that reward you with evolve medals, munny, adamantite, materials and other items typically used to enhance your keyblades/medals.Events: This section is typically reserved for events that are either daily/weekly challenges, High Score Events, Raid Events, and proud quests.Union Cross: Union Cross is the special multiplayer component for KHUX, that allows you to party up with up to 5 of either members of your party, or other members of the union you're allied to.Coliseum: Unlocked after some progression, the coliseum is a gauntlet of battles that you'll be doing to achieve enough ranking to obtain new skills, typically the first time they're ever released.Īh yes, the one unmistakably Kingdom Hearts-esque part of the game.As mentioned previously, you start off with a single keyblade (Starlight), and then go on to unlock more as you progress through the story. Exceptions to this rule are the Proud Mode keyblades, which are unlocked by doing, well, the proud mode story, and the exception to the story rule, Moogle of Glory. This is done by completing a special quest, which I'll explain a bit later. ![]() Note: U = Upright, R = Reverse P = Power, S = Speed, M = Magic. Starlight (Tri-color / Unlocked at start) : Starlight is the keyblade you begin with, a jack-of-all-trades setup with balanced multipliers throughout its upgrades. Being a tri-color, the deck loadout is comprised of MU / SU / PR / SU / MU. Although not considered one of the "best" keyblades, starlight is definitely a decent contender for your usual setups, granted that it features relatively high multipliers (2.4x+ at +35) and has a good color distribution. ![]() This will eventually be interchangeable with Stroke of Midnight, and almost assuredly replaced by Fairy Stars. Treasure Trove (Power / Unlocked at Main Story Quest 14) : This is your first keyblade unlock and subsequently the first of the focus-trios. It focuses on power, and has a deck loadout of U / R / U / U / R. You'll be forced to use this throughout the story as you progress, and it's recommended you at least get it to +20~+25. However, the keyblade itself offers weak multipliers, and will be easily replaced by dual-color and proud mode keyblades almost as soon as you obtain them. Lady Luck (Speed / Unlocked at Main Story Quest 24) : LL is your second unlock, and the Speed variant of the focus-trio. The deck loadout is distributed as U / R / U / U / R. Similar to TT, you'll be forced to use this to progress through the story, and it'll be your main speed keyblade for the first hundred or so missions. However, the keyblade itself offers weak multipliers, and will easily be replaced by dual-color and proud-mode keyblades almost as soon as you obtain them. Three Wishes (Magic / Unlocked at Main Story Quest 34) : TW is your third unlock, and the Magic variant of the focus-trio. The deck loadout is distributed as U / U / R / U / R. Similar to the previous two, you'll be forced to use this to progress through the story, and it'll be your main speed keyblade for the first hundred or so missions. ![]()
